I am Erich Kruger, event disc jockey. My slogan: "I bring music to life and life to your event - Since 1989.
I am a freelancer event DJ, working weddings, dinner/dances -any event really. I consider what I do an art. I believe I have earned where I am at professionally. I started off slowly. I'm a one person show, but occasionally work along side bands. I know most DJs in the area. We network and help each other. I put my best into my work as I'd rather have referrals from every job than spend the money advertising (even though you see me here).
Even with all my experience, I think I have "a knack for it". Many of us DJs share our skills & ideas, and there have been DJ "schools", but still, nothing compares to just getting it. Years of experience alone are not the same as having a knack for something.
