Hello. My name is Jonnie Fox and I am the owner of Jonnie Fox Rocks!! Karaoke & DJ Services, also d/b/a “Karaoke Showtime”. I started my business in 1991 in San Diego, CA after having moved from my hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana.
I published the first karaoke magazine in Southern CA, “Around Town Karaoke” with Jonnie Fox and in 1993 I began producing the first “Karaoke Kruises” in Southern CA as an alternative to nightclub singing. With the beautiful weather and views on San Diego bay, this proved to be a very successful and fun way to enjoy karaoke. We sailed aboard 125’ yachts, enjoyed great food, and sang our hearts out on outside decks to all the passing boats.
I began hosting karaoke at the famous Camp Pendleton Marine base in the Officer’s Club in 1991. I’ve hosted all over San Diego in many venues, providing quality equipment, a voluminous songbook, and a first class presentation. I held a steady five-year engagement four nights per week at the Harbor Island Travelodge Hotel (now the Hilton Harbor Island) providing karaoke and dance music.
We have provided karaoke and deejay entertainment for weddings, military functions, birthdays, fairs, charitable and political events, holiday parties and area restaurants and clubs.
My rates are based on many factors and are quoted upon request. This gives us the opportunity to custom tailor the show to meet your specific needs.
I am most grateful and thankful to all the wonderful customers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting over the years and especially grateful to the regular local following who have frequented my shows since 1991 with great loyalty. God bless you all for allowing me the opportunity to do what I love AND get paid for it!!
I am honored to have been featured in KaraokeGlobalLinks.com as the “Star of the Moment”, awarded the 1999 People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Karaoke Hostess – San Diego” and to have provided entertainment for political fundraisers for Congressman Bryan Bilbray and former Presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
