His career started while in high school playing for dances and anniversaries and other organizational events. Later, while his exposure to the disco era grew, as well as funk, R&B and hard hitting “house music”. He watched this music evolved, and he incorporated it, and integrates it with today’s sound, constantly pleasing crowds wherever he performs.
Dr. Transition's experience at mixing and remixing various genres of music such as: Reggae, Reggae-tone, Calypso, Soca, Zook, (being born of French and West Indian Heritage), Salsa, Meringue, and the ever popular R&B / Hip Hop, has made him one of the most versatile mobile entertainer for audiences in need of a "skilled" versatile DJ.
