As your DJ and Master of Ceremonies, Ron Davis will ensure that your reception runs smoothly and important moments like your first dance won't miss a beat, literally. During cocktail and dinner sets, Ron will perform on trumpet, trombone, flugelhorn, sax and vocals. His specialty is smooth jazz and light swing, so you'll hear such melodies as Unforgettable, Stardust, When I Fall In Love and Satin Doll. For over 20 years Ron was a band leader and Master of Ceremonies in the US Navy Band in San Diego, San Francisco and Virginia Beach, VA. He has fronted bands at over 2,000 events, some attended by the President of the United States. He has performed with Johnny Mathis, The 4-Tops, The Temptations, Bobby Rydell, Lee Greenwood, Don Rickles, Chuck Mangione, Steve Allen, Frankie Laine and toured Europe with Solomon Burke. At the completion of that tour, Ron performed with Solomon as they opened for the Rolling Stones at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.
