TJ the DJ started in September 2004 and has grown immensely in the past year. As an amateur DJ at a local roller rink, I grew an immediate love for the profession and decided to expand to the mobile disc jockey business! I work single-handedly and feel a one-on-one relationship with the client is key to a parties success and enjoyment. There are two parts to a professional disc jockey: the first pertains to the appearance and professionalism, while the second is the actual performance itself, usually in the form of music and lighting. Acting professionally and dressing for the part (whether it be a tuxedo, or a Halloween costume) is something anyone can do. Playing music and setting a mood, on the other hand, is an art and a feat that one must love, in order perform successfully. I don't DJ parties to get paid, I DJ parties to entertain and for the love of music! TJ the DJ is an ambitious and personal disc jockey business and has also been known to volunteer services for various fund raising events, including Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) Foundation, Relay for Life, and Cystic Fibrosis. |
